i was just sittin', bidin' my time, takin' 'er easy, etc. when i got one of those newfangled e-mail contraptions from the lebowski-fest organizers disclaiming some political message that apparently jeff dowd had sent out, but i never got any political messages from the original dude.
what gives? i want my political message from jeff dowd!

they musta got some complaints from dubya lovers, 'cos then they sent out that apology email - sorry, we didn't mean to get all political, dudes.
what's your take? i don't think it was over the line at all - and they shouldn't have apologized at all. i mean, if dowd wants to pee on dubyas rug, why should the lebowskifest dudes apologize? -
